Der Liblarer See ist ein künstlicher Badesee bei Erftstadt-Liblar. Mit etwa 53 Hektar ist er einer der größten Seen der Ville-Seenplatte. Wie fast alle Seen in der Ville entstand er durch den Rheinischen Braunkohletagebau: Die Grube Liblar förderte hier von 1900 bis 1961 Braunkohle und wurde anschließend mit Wasser gefüllt.

Heute ist der See ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel mit vielfältigen Wassersport-Möglichkeiten. Dazu zählt auch der Segel-Club Ville e.V. am Südufer des Sees. Er wurde 1963 gegründet und hat inzwischen etwa 400 Mitglieder. Das sportliche Jollensegeln sowie Regattasegeln stehen im Mittelpunkt des Clubs, seit 1970 werden hier regelmäßig verbandsoffene Regatten ausgeschrieben.

In der angegliederten Segelschule wird die Praxis des Segelsports gelehrt und fast alle Segelscheine abgenommen. Kinder und Jugendliche werden durch eine spezielle Jugendabteilung gefördert und an den Segelsport herangeführt.
Lake Liblar (German: Liblarer See) is an artificial swimming lake near Erftstadt-Liblar. With around 53 hectares, it is one of the largest lakes in the Ville Lake District. Like almost all the lakes in the Ville, it was created by the Rhenish lignite mining: The Liblar pit mined lignite here from 1900 to 1961 and was filled with water afterwards.

Today the lake is a popular destination with a variety of water sports. This also includes the sailing club Segel-Club Ville e.V. on the southern shore of the lake. It was founded in 1963 and now has around 400 members. Sporty dinghy sailing and regatta sailing are the focus of the club, since 1970 open regattas have been held here.

In the affiliated sailing school, the practice of sailing is taught and almost all sailing licenses are approved. Children and adolescents are supported by a special youth department and introduced to sailing.
