A rare example of a Parson's Shelter or Hutch in St Margaret of Antioch church, Crick. It is made of wood and stands about 6 1/2 feet in height and would have been carried to the grave side to protect the vicar or parson from the elements whilst performing the funeral.
This one dates from 1820, and was last used in around 1900.
