Iglesia de la Merced - Potosi, Bolivia - Roman Catholic Churches on Waymarking.com

The Iglesia de la Merced was built 1555 and 1687. It's located in the historical center of Potosí, the mining town which funded the foundation of the Spanish Empire.

It was recently restored and it features a carved pulpit and a 18th-century silver arch over the altarpiece. The doorway carved decoratin is impressive.

It's very picturesque but not easy the photograph as a whole due to the narrow street where it stands.
