This park has so many great features. A huge off-leash dog area, plenty of walking trails that pass through beautiful gardens, arboretum and labyrinth. There are bathrooms, covered picnic/BBQ areas and a museum dedicated to Nevada rancher Wilbur D. May. Of special interest to those with small children, there is the Great Basin adventure, which has a flume ride, hands on science musems, petting zoo and pony rides open Memorial day through September.
The dog area is a great place for our dogs to run around since we live in an RV, they appreciate the freedom there. There is a poop bag box at the main entrance but it's usually empty so plan on bringing some. Bathrooms are nearby, plenty of parking all through the park.
Please send a photo of your dog having a blast with all the other pups or let us know what large letter is inscribed on the hill across the road (visible as you turn onto the dirt road to the main parking area)
