NL Het bord vormt een van de drie startpunten van de MTB-route van de Drentsche Aa. De andere twee startpunten liggen in Gaasteren en Anloo. De route is 38 km.

Van Drenthe.nl:
Deze route ligt in het noordelijke deel van de provincie Drenthe en is geschikt voor de gevorderde MTB'er. De route gaat onder meer langs de Boswachterij Anloo en over het Balloërveld. Langs de route tref je grafheuvels aan.

De route bestaat voor 2/3 uit zandwegen en singletracks en voor 1/3 verharde wegen en half-verharde wegen. Er zijn weinig heuvels langs de route en de route gaat over het algemeen over brede paden. Vanuit Balloo kom je door/langs Loon, Taarlo, Balloerveld, Gasteren, Ubinksbos, Anloo, Eext, Anderen en weer terug in Balloo. Onderweg kom je landweggetjes, mul zand, drassige grond, onverharde paden, boswal en landweggetjes tegen.

ENG The sign is one of the three starting points of the MTB route of the Drentsche Aa. The other two starting points are in Gaasteren and Anloo. The route is 38 km.

2/3 of the route consists of sandy roads and single tracks and 1/3 of paved roads and semi-paved roads. There are few hills along the route and the route is generally on wide paths. From Balloo you will pass through / past Loon, Taarlo, Balloerveld, Gasteren, Ubinksbos, Anloo, Eext, Anderen and back in Balloo. Along the way you will come across country roads, loose sand, marshy ground, unpaved paths, forest wall and country roads.
