After a day of geocaching in South Dakota and Minnesota my wife and I took a look at our GPS for a place to eat on the way back home. We thought Black Sheep Burger Company sounded like it was worth a try. It sure was.
Burgers is in the name, but Black Sheep Burger Co. also offers a few chicken sandwiches. Fish, grilled cheese and B.L.T. sandwiches are also on the menu. Nine hamburgers are on the menu and we ordered a Gerch Burger (Texas Toast with cheese and a burger patty) and a Southwest Burger (avocado, bacon and Swiss) and onion rings. The burgers were good and the onion rings were pretty good as well.
Most of the people who stopped in while were ate were there for ice cream. sundaes, shakes, malts and cones (vanilla, chocolate and twist).
If you are not sure about the difference between a shake and a malt, well, there is an older guy in town that was happy to discuss the difference with the lady he came in with. Maybe you could ask him.
If we are ever in the area and looking for a meal we would be happy to go back, but if I order the Gerch I will get it with one slice of cheese and not two.
