Above the entrance of Evangelic church (Evangelický kostel) in Trebechovice pod Orebem, parish chuurch of the local congregation of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, can be found text from Gospel of Luke (19:46) in Czech.

Czech text above the entrance (in bold), taken from Gospel of Luke 19:46 (Bible of Kralice version):

Rka jim, Psáno jest:
Dum muj, dum modlitby jest,
vy jste jej pak ucinili peleší lotrovskou.

Corresponding text in English (in bold), taken from Gospel of Luke 19:46 (King James Version) version:

Saying to them, It is written:
My house is the house of prayer,
but ye have made it a den of thieves.

The neo-Romanesque church is located in front of houses on the north side of the main town public space - Masaryk Square (námestí Tomáše Garrigua Masaryka) in Trebechovice pod Orebem. The church was built by the builder A. Nový from Rychnov nad Knežnou. Its foundation stone was laid on May 5, 1876 and the consecration took place on July 6, 1880 with the participation of Superintendent Jan Veselý from Klášter nad Dedinou. Today, in addition to religious purposes, the church also serves to organize performances of children of the local primary school or the local art school, picture exhibitions, concerts of musical ensembles or meetings in Advent.

The spacious and decorated church has a gallery on both sides of the prayer room, and in the front, in the apse between two tall Romanesque windows, in the axis of the prayer room is a pulpit. In front of the pulpit, again in the axis of the church, is the Table of the Lord. All these works were made by the Trebechovice carver Jan Podstata. The church was repaired in the 1960s and 1970s, and a general reconstruction took place in 1994–1995.
