This replica is one of 53 Liberty Bell replicas presented by the French to each U.S. State and territory in 1950. Each of these bell was cast by Paccard Foundry in Annecy-le-Vieux, France.
This bell can be touched. If you are daring enough, pull on the rope attached to the clapper. Gently now, the tone lasts for a long time.
