This ghost bike is placed at a heavily crossing of two main streets in the district Heddesdorf of Neuwied. On 17th of January 2019 a 85 years aged woman wanted to cross the street at the pediastrians path when a cars turned right and hits the woman. The woman has died by the consquences of the accident.
The Ghostbike has been placed two weeks later by the bicycle riders club RRC Rhein-Wied to extend attention of bike-riders in the traffic in the city.
