This reservoir sits in open moorland where there is a one and a half-mile walk along the river from the car park to the dam. Ice-creams and snacks are available from a van during the summer and toilet facilities suitable for the disabled are on site. The reservoir cover's an area of approx 33 acres and was completed in 1957.
