Kirkeby udendørs kirkerum - - Outdoor Altars on Waymarking.com

I 2016 blev et smukt udendørs kirkerum ved Kirkeby Kirke etableret. Her er både altertavle og alterbord fremstillet af glas.

Altertavlen, der måler 1x2 meter, har ”livstrappen” som bærende element.
Det unikke alterbord består af 10 tykke glasplader. Otte af pladerne har hver et vers fra Prædikerens bog kap. 3 v.1-8 ( Alting har sin tid) sandslebet ind i glasset.
Det store glasbillede og alterbordet er fastforankrede med kraftige jernstativer.


In 2016, a beautiful outdoor church room at Kirkeby Church was established. Here are both altar and altarpiece made of glass.

The altarpiece, which measures 1x2 meters, has the "life staircase" as the supporting element.
The unique altar table consists of 10 thick glass panels. Eight of the plates each have a verse from Ecclesiastes book chapter 3 v.1-8 (Everything has its time) sanded into the glass.
The large glass picture and the altar table are firmly anchored with heavy iron racks.
