Damsholte Church is the only Danish village church in rococo style. It was built in 1741-1743 by architect Philip de Lange.
The church consists of a rectangular vessel with two penagonal to the east and west. All corners are decorated with white pilasters.
Christian VI's monogram can be seen in the triangular gables topping the outer walls of the nave. The west door and all the windows have rounded arches.
The red-tiled roof is divided into three main sections covering the nave and the extensions. At the western end of the building, it is crowned with an octagonal lantern and onion spire.
The church is normally open on weekdays, or you can attend the service (often Sundays at 10.30 am)
