It was all the rage in the 90s of the last century. Every city, village or neighborhood had to have a bowling alley. Many clubs were established and many have now disappeared. This does not apply to the jeu de boules club Lochem. On the beautiful course on the Lochemseweg in Barchem, they are still playing. There is even good track lighting so that you can also play in the evening.
The game rules are on a board by the side of the course.
There is a table at the side for the jury members.
The course itself is covered with finely ground white-gray stones.
