St. George's Episcopal (Anglican) Church is a large white building with bright red trim whose origins date back to the 18th century. It was rebuilt in 1819 following a hurricane.

The church set back from Main St. is surrounded by a church graveyard on all four sides and white wall on the front which is separated by a walkway and a stairway with red and white handrails and 13 steps leading up to a portico at the entrance to the church. The windows of the church have pane glass windows, arched tops, and are flanked flanked by red shutters. On the right rear of the church is a three story high bell tower with sets of three pointed arch openings on all side and a crenulated rooftop.

According to the Lonely Planet website (q.v.): "It was formerly a meeting place for the Legislative Council.
