Parku Miqesia (Friendship Park) is the largest park in the center of Sarandë. It is a square of about 50 to 50 meters. It has a lot of trees and benches along the paths. one corner is a playground and the southern part is dominated by a large fountain with hundreds of fountain jets.

I tried to find some informations about the history of the park and the specific meaning of its name, but all I found was a local newspaper article from August 2019, that the park was temporarily closed by the police, because it had attracted homeless people and beggars from all over the country. When we visited in October there were no signs left of this situation.
