The coat of arms of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico features as it's central figure a lamb representing the Lamb of God that appears in the Gospel of John. The lamb has its right front leg raises which is wrapped around the pole holding a banner with a red cross on a white field, sometime called the Banner of Victory used by the crusaders. The land stands on a sphere with a pair wavy blue lines.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico comprising the northeast portion of the island of Puerto Rico. It is one of six archdiocese of the Catholic Church on the island. It is the oldest diocese in the Americas and dates back to On August 8, 1511 when it was created by Pope Julius II. It's first bishop was Alonso Manso (1511–1539) the current archbishop is Roberto Octavio González Nieves, O.F.M.
