The coat of arms of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico features as it's central figure a lamb representing the Lamb of God that appears in the Gospel of John. The lamb has its right front leg raises which is wrapped around the pole holding a banner with a red cross on a white field, sometime called the Banner of Victory used by the crusaders. The land stands on a sphere with a pair wavy blue lines.

It is the oldest diocese in the Americas and dates back to On August 8, 1511 when it was created by Pope Julius II.
