No, you're not lost! You may think you are - either lost in space (while traveling to this museum; it's not exactly on a "main road") or in time once you arrive.
It is, however, not that far from SR 6, and is well worth the trip.
This museum offers not only several working windmills on display, but video demonstrations, tours, photographs, informational areas, hands-on displays and a site library, all enabling visitors to learn about our past. This is the only known operational museum of its type in the entire United States.
This location was chosen due to the numerous windmill manufacturers in the area.
