The Tequila museum offers a short tour on the tequila making process. They have tasting of tequilas of different ages. They also offer very good bottles of tequila for sale. The staff are friendly and competent. In addition to the stages of making tequila, we learned what part of the agave is used to make this drink. We can also buy all kinds of Mexican gifts and crafts here.
The equipment used to make tequila is displayed outside the museum. Our second photo shows the cooking and fermentation process. The third image shows the extraction process (with a giant grinding wheel) and the fourth image, the fermentation, distillation and aging process. The fifth picture shows the interior of the museum.
