Für den Ausbau des Grenzstreifens wurden etwa 1000 Gräber umgebettet. Möglicherweise wurden Sammelgräber mit Bombenopfern des Zweiten Weltkrieges nicht exhumiert und die Grenzanlagen über den Gräbern errichtet. An sie erinnert dieses Kreuz."
