1000 Steps is the name of one of the many beaches / diving spots on Bonaire. It is situated nearby the Radio Netherlands relay station. The name of the beach was derived from the stairway leading to it.
The stairway is not really 1000 steps long, but you may count them yourself on your visit to this cache. No problem for well-trained and younger people, but when carrying all your diving gear, it definitely feels like a 1000 steps. Besides a perfect spot for snorkeling and diving, you can see Klein Bonaire from here. Finally, you might also want to visit the cache. The view is even better from there.
