Foundling with the anniversary inscription 850 years (1141 - 1991) Tasdorf at the end of the Sandkoppelweg.
The municipality of Tasdorf is the smallest independent municipality in the district of Bokhorst-Wankendorf with a current population of 332. It lies in the extreme west of the Plön district, only about 1.5 km from the outskirts of Neumünster. The municipal area, including agricultural land, covers a good 500 ha.
Tasdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1141. For centuries the village was a pure farming village. Two of the local farmers can trace the history of their family and farms back to the time before the Thirty Years' War. Today there are still six full-time farms and two renowned horse breeding farms in Tasdorf and in Bornrüm, 2 km outside the village. Every two years a riding tournament of supra-regional importance takes place in Tasdorf.
