Branston a small town not far from Lincoln, the capital of Lincolnshire. Has may interesting historic places of interests within a short walk. This waymark walk covers some places of interest not categorized within "Waymarking".

This waymark trail follows a similar path to the local guide map as posted, within the car park.
1. Starting at the only public house, The Waggon and Horses car park
visitors are able to see refinements of a "sheepwash" adjacent to the stream.
Walking past the Cafe, which was the local library and the hair dressers which was a wartime fire station.
2.Now walking up Rectory Lane you will come across one of five water outlets, water rose from springs to drink, there are others around the town.
3.Walking towards waterwheel lane and the "beck" (the stream) the stream goes under the road and is protected by a wooden decoratively carved balustrade.
Walking up the hill, Thatchers Lane (It would be interesting to note some of the house names. Could they, the houses been part of a larger need Servicing the local Manor?), then down Chapel lane to Chapel Road.
4.Passing a house which was occupied by the local district nurses, motor bike, image, by the wall.
There is also a stone inlay within the house wall which has "ASLM AFLM September 30 1908" suggesting- "The Alzheimer Foundation London and Middlesex™ (AFLM) funds the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex (ASLM), an organization dedicated to providing hope, relief and support with individuals and families throughout their journey with dementia", however, not confirmed.
