A H. 7.5' by 8' bronze wave that is painted sea-green is set on a 2.25' high by 12' by 9' brick base. The wave is shown in the process of cresting. The sculpture was created by Kay Worden and cast by the Paul King Foundry in 1983. As a humorous touch a pair of bronze feet protrude from the base of the wave.
