This dove of peace, with olive branch in it's be beak, is part of the the art piece "Inquiry". Inquiry is a leaded Venetian glass mosaic created by David J. Hetland. Inquiry was donated in August of 1981 in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Carl B. Ylvisaker Library by staff members and family.
The mosaic is located in the library entry way. The dove can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the mosaic.
