Stompin' Tom is a Canadian folk hero known for writing songs about life in everyday-Canada. His records have sold more than 4 million copies and the Stompin' Tom Centre, recently built on the property that he grew up in, houses his awards.

1969's "Bud the Spud and Other Favourites" went Gold, 1990's "A Proud Canadian" went Platinum, 1998's "25 of the Best Stompin' Tom Souvenirs" went Platinum, and 2006's "Live Concert (DVD)" went Double Platinum.

Connors released his albums on seven different labels, including three of his own: Boot Records, together with its budget label Cynda, which were active in the 1970s and 1980s and A-C-T, active from the late 1980s.
