Loriot-Cartoon; source:jpc.de

German cartoonist and comedian Loriot was famous for his bulbous-nosed cartoon characters (in Germany called "potato-nose). After his death in 2011, his hometown Brandenburg honored the artist by placing a number of benches with Loriot characters across town. These benches, especially the one next to the town hall have become popular sit-by-me objects.

Picture taken in September 2018. We couldn't make our noses match the character, but tried to sit with the same look and hand-position.
