"The Hallsville Community Uniting Church is a worship centre of the Peel Valley Uniting Church, and part of the New England North West Presbytery and the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT. A Sunday School was started in the home of Mr John Hall in 1878, and was the genesis for the establishment of a church. The first wooden church building was opened in November 1894, on land donated by John Hall. A new brick building was opened on 16/7/1989 by the Rev Clyde Dominish, Moderator of the NSW Synod. The church celebrated its 120th anniversary on 9/11/2014." (ex-Churches Australia website: (visit link) ) The Friday afternoon service is held in the new brick Uniting Church.
