In Helenaveen, on the Oude Peelstraat, the Jules de Corte carillon adorns. The carillon was inaugurated in 1975; Jules de Corte (born in neighboring Deurne and a temporary resident of Helenaveen) played his first tune as carilloneur.
The carillon consists of 24 bells. In 2012, 13 of the 24 clocks were stolen. Fortunately they have been replaced. The construction is based on a large cupboard, which is the play cabin. The carillon plays a tune at set times, tuned to the season.
