"Établie à 127 m d'altitude, la gare de Gilly-Sart-Allet est située au point kilométrique (PK) 13,9 de la ligne 119, de Luttre à Châtelet, entre les gares de Gilly-Sart-Culpart et de Châtelet.

La station du Gilly-Sart-Allet est mise en service le 22 septembre 1876 par les chemins de fer de l'État-Belge, lors de l'ouverture à l'exploitation de la section de Châtelet à Gilly-Sart-Allet. La section suivante jusqu'à Jumet est mise en service le 26 mars 1879 et l'intégralité de la ligne de Luttre à Châtelet est ouverte le 5 août 1880.

Le service voyageurs est arrêté le 4 octobre 1953.

Le service marchandise perdure jusqu'au 25 août 1989 entre la gare et celle de Jumet et jusqu'au 24 novembre 1992 entre la gare et celle de Châtelet. Les rails sont démontés sur les deux tronçons de part et d'autre de la gare en 1990 et 1995."

"Built at an altitude of 127 m, Gilly-Sart-Allet station is located at kilometre point (KP) 13.9 of line 119, from Luttre to Châtelet, between Gilly-Sart-Culpart and Châtelet stations.

The Gilly-Sart-Allet station was commissioned on 22 September 1876 by the Belgian State Railways when the Châtelet section at Gilly-Sart-Allet opened for operation. The next section up to Jumet was commissioned on 26 March 1879 and the entire Luttre à Châtelet line was opened on 5 August 1880.

The passenger service was discontinued on 4 October 1953.

The freight service continues until 25 August 1989 between the Gilly's station and that of Jumet and until 24 November 1992 between the station and that of Châtelet. The rails were dismantled on both sides of the station in 1990 and 1995."

The local association "Faim et Froid" has redeveloped the ground floor of the former station into a multi-purpose room, kitchen, sanitary facilities and office. Since 2001, RAVeL users have been able to benefit from the service offers of the "Relais du RAVeL": snack bars, sanitary facilities and bicycle workshop. The association also opens the station on the district with the use of the premises and entertainment, but also activities related to the social action of the association. The goods hall will not disappear either and serves as warehouses for the social action of the association "Faim et Froid". RAVel in French for réseau autonome de voies lentes (autonomous network of slow ways)
