On the highest point on the headland, there is a prominent mound of earth and vegetation, this is the site of Godrevey Barrow, a Bronze age burial site. Barrows may contain one or more burials.
The Cairn/Barrow sits on top of the headland, as described within the visitor information board. There is however, several other mounds in the location some of which are or as a result of nearby quarrying ( a small worked depression in the ground with spoil heaps) and rocks covered with vegetation.
The images I took of the area is my understanding of the Barrow's site.
Due to the proximity of the coast and cliff edge visitors are advised to adhere to existing coastal paths and not to venture too close to any cliff edge.
