Am Beginn der Fußgängerzone in der Sparkassegasse in Hollabrunn ist eine Kompassrose aus hellen und dunklen Pflastersteinen eingebaut worden. Die Kompassrose besteht aus zwei ineinander liegenden Quadraten. Im inneren Quadrat sind 2 Kreise mit einem Kreuz in der Mitte zu sehen sind. Norden wird mit einem "N" gekennzeichnet, die übrigen Himmelsrichtungen muss man selbst wissen. Wann und warum die Kompassrose hier gelegt wurde, konnten wir nicht herausfinden.

At the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the Sparkassegasse in Hollabrunn a compass rose made of light and dark cobblestones has been installed. The compass rose consists of two squares lying one inside the other. In the inner square there are 2 circles with a cross in the middle. North is marked with an "N", the other cardinal points you have to know yourself. We could not find out, when and why the compass rose was laid here.
