"The St. Martin or Maartenskerk Church is a Protestant church of the Dutch Reformed Church in 's-Gravenpolder, in the province of Zeeland.
The superstructure of the tower was renovated in the 19th century. During the Second World War, during the Battle of Zeeland, the church was badly damaged. The restoration of the church began in 1957 and the tower was restored to its original superstructure.
The bell tower has an octagonal structure, an open dome, a pear-shaped roof and a mechanical wrought-iron timepiece from the 17th century. In the bell is a clock of 1465 with a diameter of 78 cm.
The two annexes on either side of the base of the tower date back to the 15th century. The tower is protected separately as a national monument. On the wind vane of the tower is a herring that recalled having fished in the Middle Ages while 's-Gravenpolder still had its own port.
The nave probably dates from the beginning of the 15th century and the right choir dates from the 14th century. The northern part was built in the early sixteenth century and the southern part a little later.
The interior includes a bench with Gothic panels of the 16th century and a wooden bench of 1680, a pulpit of 1641 and a baptismal font of 1552. "

La superstructure de la tour a été rénovée au 19ème siècle. Pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, lors de la bataille de Zeeland, l'église fut gravement endommagée. La restauration de l'église a commencé en 1957 et la tour a été restaurée pour retrouver sa superstructure d'origine.
Le clocher a une structure octogonale, un dôme ouvert, un toit en forme de poire et un garde-temps mécanique en fer forgé du XVIIe siècle. Dans le clocher il y a une horloge de 1465 avec un diamètre de 78 cm.
Les deux annexes de part et d'autre de la base de la tour datent du 15ème siècle. La tour est protégée séparément en tant que monument national. Sur la girouette de la tour se trouve un hareng qui rappelait avoir pêché au Moyen-Âge alors que 's-Gravenpolder avait toujours son propre port.
La nef date probablement du début du 15ème siècle et le choeur de droite date du 14ème siècle. La partie nord a été construite au début du XVIe siècle et la partie sud un peu plus tard.
L'intérieur comprend un banc avec des panneaux gothiques du XVIe siècle et un banc d'hommes en bois de 1680, une chaire de 1641 et des fonts baptismaux de 1552. "

" De Sint-Martinuskerk of Maartenskerk is een protestantse kerk van de Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk in 's-Gravenpolder in de provincie Zeeland.
De bovenbouw van de toren werd vernieuwd in de 19e eeuw. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog bij de strijd in Zeeland werd de kerk zwaar beschadigd. In 1957 werd begonnen met de restauratie van het kerkgebouw waarbij de toren werd hersteld naar de oorspronkelijke bovenbouw.
De klokkentoren heeft een achthoekige structuur, een open koepeltje en een peervormig dak en een mechanisch smeedijzeren uurwerk uit de 17e eeuw. In de klokkenstoel bevindt zich een klok uit 1465 met een diameter van 78 cm.
De twee aanbouwen aan weerszijden van de torenvoet dateren uit de 15e eeuw. De toren is apart beschermd als rijksmonument. Op de windwijzer van de toren staat een haring die zou herinneren aan de visserij in de Middeleeuwen toen ’s-Gravenpolder nog een eigen haven had.
Het schip is vermoedelijk uit begin 15e eeuw en het rechtgesloten koor dateert wellicht uit de 14e eeuw. Het noorderdwarspand werd gebouwd begin 16e eeuw en het grotere zuiderdwarspand iets later. Het interieur omvat een bank met gotisch paneelwerk uit de 16e eeuw en een houten herenbank uit 1680, een kansel uit 1641 en een doopvont uit 1552."
