Berlin's Olympic Stadium was the venue of the 1936 Olympic Games and of the 1974 and 2006 FIFA Soccer Worldcup. since 1984, it is also the annual host of the German Soccer Cup, the DFB-Pokal.

Part of the exhibitions at the stadium is the DFB Pokal Walk of Fame. Every year, fans vote for the best player of the cup-season. The winner gets his footprints (or in case of goal keepers his hand prints) cast for eternity. At the annual ceremony, the player does his hand- or footprints in concrete, the prints are later permanently covered with a thin bronze plating.

For detailed pictures, we picked midfielder Günter Netzer, who scored 120 goals in a 16 year-long career and goal keeper Oliver Kahn, 86 times German national player and Most Valuable Player of the 2002 Soccer World Cup.
