The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARCs) provide spiritual, emotional and social assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.
A seven-phase program provides residents with the opportunity to regain self-respect and acquire the moral and spiritual principles of conduct and responsible work habits that will enable them to re-enter society as productive members.
Each center offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.

This promotional/documentary film was produced by students from the Fall 2014 COMM2200 Field Production class at the community college. This short film was awarded honorable mention in the Documentary Narrative category at the 2015 CCRI Student Film Festival.
