The Northern End of Mooragh Park is a Dark Sky Discovery Site and has intepretation Boards, which mean that even novice stargazers can spot constellations and named stars without the light pollution which is all too common in much of the British Isles.
This Dark Sky Discovery Site is particularly good for viewing the sky to the North round to the South East.
"The Isle of Man has now become the best place to stargaze in the British Isles."
