Current Goal

NEW MISSION (4/26/10): To come back home to Miami, Florida, USA. This TB has been travelling the world for 6 years. It started out when 9 year old Tommy set it free to see where it would go. Tommy is now 14 and his TB has seen many really interesting sites. This TB started out with its twin (Andy's World Traveler Bug), but that TB has been lost since 2007. Let's see if Tommy's World Traveler can make its way back home...

About This Item

Tommy's World Traveler Bug

This little bug belongs to Tommy, a 9 year old boy from Miami, FL. Tommy would like his travel bug "to travel around the world." This TB was released along with his brother's TB, Andy's World Traveler Bug. They both have the same mission, but would prefer not to travel together (you know how brothers can be). Thanks for your help in pushing this little guy along. P.S. - Tommy made the globe attached to the TB.

We exchanged this cute globe, team Mirriepirrie handed it over to team Sterremaris in the Tynaarloo cache. Or actually, since Mirriepirrie dropped (logged) it in the wrong cache (we did a few caches today), we exchanged it over a Dutch prehistoric 'hunnebed' (a prehistoric gravesite, build from huge stones, GC16PM2 'de stenen van Assen'). So this globe has seen a lot. We will try to drop it of in our hometown, Amsterdam, so hopefully someone can bring it to Schiphol airport to make it travel back to Miami. We hope it will reach Tommy soon, so he can give it a nice special place in his room!

  • dolmen of Loon Sterremaris climbed the dolmen of Loon. See our tb-log for the explanation why the tb 'ended up' in Tynaarloo...
