SUE is one of the largest, most extensive, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever found. Discovered by Sue Hendrickson, an explorer and fossil collector, in 1990. Sue's discovery was the result of happenstance - a flat tire. There's so many amazing stories like SUE's. A tiny town in South Dakota held a big find. An inconvenience like a flat tire lead to a big find. Stories like these are awesome reminders to keep perspective, look for opportunities wherever you are, and manage your expectations. You may expect nothing at all, yet find something big!

As a new mom to a little girl, I immediately knew what I wanted her to be when she grew up - an archeologist. I bought her books, clothes, toys, teethers, and everything else I could find that maybe, just maybe, would encourage the interest. At the time of creating this trackable, she's still just a baby, so there's still hope. Maybe one day I can tell her about this trackable that traveled all the way to South Dakota and back, as one more way I hope to encourage her to become an epic dinosaur hunter. But in the end, this little girl from Oklahoma has her own journey, and my hopes are just for fun as a dinosaur loving mom.
