GCC 2019-07 - Children of Atargatis...
...hier mussten wir selber zunächst einmal googlen - Wikipedia spuckt uns folgendes dazu aus: Atargatis (griechisch), Atar'ata (aramäisch), als griechisch-römische Form Dea Syria; war eine semitische Gottheit besonders im Norden von Syrien, zu deren Kult unter anderem die rituelle Kastration gehörte. Also wieder einmal etwas gelernt - und ab in die Sammlung mit der Meerjungfrau!
...we've had to ask google before we were able to write down something about it - this is what wikipedia says: Atargatis was the chief goddess of northern Syria in Classical antiquity. Ctesias also used the name Derketo (Ancient Greek: Δερκετὼ) for her, and the Romans called her Dea Syria, or in one word Deasura. Primarily she was a goddess of fertility, but, as the mistress of her city and people, she was also responsible for their protection and well-being. Well, learned something new - now getting this mermaid into the collection.

Weitere Coins beschädigten mich ein zweites Mal und ich war erschrocken, dass ich mich an einige gar nicht mehr in dem kurzen Zeitraum erinnern konnte. Um so besser, dass ich die ein weiteres Mal betrachtete.
Es gab auch hierunter wundervolle Exemplare, die mir sehr gefallen. (An die konnte ich mich natürlich erinnern!) Und so endete mein gestriger Tag mit der Betrachtung dieser Coins und mein heutiger startete damit und stimmt mich somit gut gelaunt auf ein bevorstehendes Wochenende ein. Cattack

Danke an mel-whv, dass ich die Möglichkeit erhalten habe, deine gesamte Sammlung online zu betrachten und zu discovern🤩🦅💪🏻 und fast täglich kommen immer wieder neue hinzu😁😯 echt eine große Sammelleidenschaft bei dir! Nun hatte ich mir in den letzten Tagen wieder etwas Zeit genommen, um die nächsten 100 Coins aus deiner Sammlung zu bewundern! Wahnsinn was für Schmuckstücke teilweise dazwischen sind!
