This trackable made possible by: Gabriela Pickett
My mom did a lot to help those in need or transition. Working with a victim's center in Denver, Colorado and giving a place to live to those who maybe couldn't find a place elsewhere. With that said, she was definitely not one to take advantage of and picky with whom she kept her company.
From a peaceful warrior, in the name of a warrior of peace.
Origins of "hido," K.D., and the road trip
"Hido" was a greeting my mother, Kathy Bruce started saying in the mid-nineties. It was a consolidation of, "Hi, how are you doing?" into one word. Like Namaste for Enlgish speakers.
Mom's middle initial was "D". Katie was the name of her grandmother (her mom's mom). First initial plus middile initial, phonetically results in the same sound.
The Hido K.D. Road Trip is a tribute to my mother who passed away March 1st, 2019. She loved road trips and traveling. These trackables let her keep doing so for however long they last..
