埴輪Haniwa 踊る男女
This little one is what I got at Tokyo. It is the national treaure in Japan. But few people know it. The pottery represented the art and culture of ancient Japanese people. This little one catches the figure of man/woman's dancing in slightly-curved body. The facial feature is relatively flat. Interesting that a character in Princess Mononoke, Kodama, is exactly same to this Haniwa. Kodama is a kind of spirit of the forest. From the informations from artworks of past and nowadays, the prototype of respect for nature transmitted in Japanese culture. I love this spirit.
I put it on a trackable at 2019. Hope more and more people will see this little one. And keep in mind that respect for nature.
