In 2016 I visited Morocco. It was my first time in Africa and I had a great time. One of my best memories was finding the geocache At “Youssef“ in the middle of the Medina (GC4YXKY). This cache has the most favorite points in Morocco, and for good reason: Youssef the shop owner is one of the nicest, most hospitable people you will ever meet. He has been hosting this cache for over five years, and guards it like the treasure it is.
Youssef appreciates the hundreds of geocachers from around the world that have visited his babouche shop in the heart of the medina in Marrakech. He often gives a homemade gift to visitors, which is what this trackable is. I hope it can travel far and spread the friendly feelings that Youssef so generously shares with others.
