Local Troop 32037 participated in a Geocaching demonstration on 9/4/15. In honor of their great work, we made this TB to celebrate the earning of their patches. The girls found 2 local caches using the geocaching app on Iphone.

While out caching today in George L Smith Park, we found what appeared to be an old ammo can cache nowhere near any currently recorded cache and with no identifying marks. We thought it must be an abandoned or lost cache, but when we opened it, this trackable was inside a ziploc bag. It still looks great. It is totally crazy to think this thing has been lost in the park for 2 years, but I am very happy we found it and can report it is still safe/sound.
It seems to have made it's goal of visiting the JGL house in Savannah, but not yet Alei's goal of making it to see buffalo in South Dakota, so we will launch it back into the world soon.

Mosquitoes and ants and being in the woods alone are all things I could live without but I faced them anyway and got this smiley. Ok, I was barely in the woods but still...
