This coin is very special in my starting collection of Geocoins, is my first real find for a coin of this type that I can own and I've discover it on a beautiful Geocache (Sleepy Hollow Revisited) located in a place you wouldn't imagine in Atlanta, GA USA and there it was, just a magical moment. When I've discover it and really look at it in detail I've inmediately new it was an Earth Coin and I was very mesmerized by it, even though I haven't find my first EarthCache yet it still special. Now it makes me more eager to find this type of cache.
An EarthCache is a special geological location people can visit to learn about a unique feature of the Earth. EarthCache pages include a set of educational notes along with coordinates. Visitors to EarthCaches can see how our planet has been shaped by geological processes, how we manage its resources and how scientists gather evidence.
