Just like the Global Nomads, this trackable's mission is to journey across the globe, visiting as many geocaches as possible and telling the stories of those who come into contact with it along the way.
The Global Nomads live on the Isle of Man. This trackable is decorated with the Manx flag, the national emblem of the Isle of Man, an independent Crown protectorate nation geographically located in the middle of the Irish Sea in between the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Isle Man's parliament (Tynwald) is the longest continuous government system in existence, having endured for over 1000 years. The flag depicts the three legs of Man on a red background. This is an ancient symbol, also dating back long over a millennia, which is often accompanied with the motto "Quocunque Jeceris Stabit", and loosely translated means "However you throw me, I will always stand". The Isle of Man is approximately 32 miles long and 12 miles wide, with a population of around 80,0000 people. It is traditionally famous for the annual TT motorcycle road races, Manx cats (a breed born without tails), and kippers; but is also becoming increasingly well known as a centre for outdoor enthusiasts due to its facilities for hikers, sea kayakers, scuba divers, mountain bikers and road cyclists to name but a few.
