Dropped Off 7/23/2023 Pengwinldy placed it in Bäretuschi Bern, Switzerland - 1.2 miles  Visit Log

Bäretuschi: We were planning to go up the mountain on a big hike but thunder and lightning derailed us. During the storm we sheltered in our nearby chalet, then the sun came out so some of my Girl Scouts and I went for this beautiful hike and made the find. Dropped you off since I got you too Switzerland. Safe travels

Our Chalet: My troop is here from the USA to visit Our Chalet. We visited Pax Lodge earlier this month and are having a wonderful trip! This one was a bit confusing as when I got to the posted coords, I did not see any information, so I used my trusty internet TOTT and got a lot of the info. Some of it seemed out dated and math isn’t my thing so I gave up on it. Then I just happened to check something as we were walking.l If I was to hide a geocache near here, this is where I’d hide it”. To my surprise, I looked and found the cache! Signed the log. Wanted to add a small TB but it didn’t fit.

Freude herrscht: Our Girl Scout troop from California, USA is staying in Adelboden but we spent the day In Kandersteg and went up to the lake. Found this one pretty quick and happy to have my first find in Switzerland!

Visited 7/18/2023 Pengwinldy took it to Le Champs de Mars Île-de-France, France - 213.53 miles  Visit Log

Les Champs de Mars: First stop in Paris after dropping our gear at the hotel. I have three travel bugs that wanted to visit the Tour Eiffel so, they came, too. Our Girl Scout troop decided to climb up to the 2nd level. I’m beat, but what a view! So glad you stuck with me so long. We made it!

Visited 7/16/2023 Pengwinldy took it to Maitland Park London, United Kingdom - 2.2 miles  Visit Log

Maitland Park: Our Girl Scout troop is staying at Pax Lodge up the road and we came down to Oliver’s for fish and chips. I walked a bit farther and grabbed this cache. I was a bit worried when I saw the previous DNF , but it was in the first place I looked.

Visited 7/14/2023 Pengwinldy took it to Catastrophe, Calamity, Cataclysm Part 3 London, United Kingdom - 1.07 miles  Visit Log

Catastrophe, Calamity, Cataclysm Part 3: Spent the morning be at the Tower of London with our Girl Scout troop from the USA and enjoyed learning about the history here. At first I had the wrong bridge and thought it was the one at the exit. Since I was inside waiting for the group to finish exploring, I asked a very nice man who was volunteering for the name of the bridge and the year. He went outside and read a nearby sign and gave me the indoor I thought I needed. Then, I had a wonderful conversation with him. Later, I realized I was at the wrong gate. When my group left, I convinced them to go right and was able to get the info I needed myself.

Golden Gallery Virtual Cache: This cathedral is so beautiful! I was disappointed that the whispering gallery was closed today but I did enjoy exploring the rest of the cathedral.
