To spread the word, Caching Fire will visit local gatherings (also called Geocaching events) of other worthy Cachers. To map his travels, please log where you saw him and, if possible, include a picture of yourself with this magical, mythical creature.
Once upon a time, in a dark cavern in the Kingdom of Livonia, lived a dragon. This dragon wasn’t an average dragon, but one of the fearless “Guardians of the Cache”. For a generation, Caching Fire bravely guarded the treasures of GC4T1BK (a vast repository of riches gathered by Commander Overlord from his youthful adventures).
One day, a band of Cachers called the Livonia Traveling Group (#19) happened upon the cavern in their nightly travels. There, they were confronted by Caching Fire. However, instead of a fiery demise, they were deemed worthy after solving a tricky puzzle to enter the treasure room. Upon seeing the care and reverence of his bounty, the Commander deemed that it was time to open his cavern to all others who could also solve the puzzle and prove to be worthy.
So, he sent Caching Fire out into the world, to spread the word of the fabulous riches and variety of caches in the lands of Southeastern Michigan.
