Jmenuji se Matysek. Muj kamarad, maly chlapec, mne dostal jako darek a stale si se mnou hral. Jenze za nekolik dni dostal muj kamarad jinou hracku a na mne zapomnel. Cele dny jsem byl jen na policce a doufal jsem, ze si mne chlapec opet vezme na hrani. Volal jsem na neho. Ale nic se nezmenilo. Za nekolik tydnu jeśem byl uz byl pokryty vrstvou prachu, kdyz vtom ke me opet prisel muj kamarad. Slava! zase si budeme hrat! Ale ne. Misto toho mne vlozil do krabice pod posteli, kde jsem se setkal s dalsimi hrackami, ktere zde uz dlouho lezely bez chlapcova zajmu. Vsechny by si s nim rady opet hraly, jenze ten uz nechce. Proc? Proc mi to muj kamarad udelal? V cem jsem horsi, nez jeho nova hracka? Nebo uz to neni muj kamarad?
Rozhodl jsem se, ze v krabici nezustanu! Nezustanu s timto chlapcem! Pujdu se podivat do sveta. Do sveta, o kterem jsem slysel jen z vypraveni. Voda, louky, lesy. Hory i niziny. Vsechno chci videt a uzit si tu cestu!
Jednoho dne se ale vratim domu. K malemu chlapci. Urcite si mne bude vazit. Vsechno o sve ceste budu svemu kamaradovi vypravet. A on si se mnou bude zase hrat. Určitě bude...

I was on the shelf whole days and I hoped, he will play with me again. I was calling him. But nothing changed. Several weeks later, when I was covered by the dust, my friend came to me. Super! We will play together again! But not. Instead of this, he put me to the box under his bed, where I met another old toys. All toys wanted to play with him again, but he did not want. Why? Why my friend did it to me? Why I'm worse than his new toy? Or He is not my friend anymore?
