To Spread Bike Awareness.
Todie was a fellow geocacher who was killed while riding his motorcycle. The owner of the vehicle was distracted and said he didn't see him. That happens a lot so some of us decided to send out geocoins to make people aware that bikes are every where. There have been so many accidents involving motorcycles and most of them is caused by a distracted driver. Everyone is in a hurry.
When I first started caching, caching was a way to get people to a place where they thought was specail. Today, for many it is all about the numbers or the first to find so this gecko is to remind them that all it takes is a split second and your life could be changed for ever.. While you was out caching did you see all that was there near the cache? I am more aware of my surroundings since joining in to send out geocoins to spread bike awareness. This isn't about casting blame or taking sides. It is about making everyone aware that we must slow down and pay attention. Please place this in another cache to help spread the message.
