The "Bielskis' Sacrifice to Save" (Bilskis zapisać ofiar, Bilski Opfer zu retten ) Travel Bug is on a Voyage to the area of Poland / Belarus, to commemorate the hard work and sacrifices of some brothers who may be our distant relatives. These are Tuvia Bielski (1906-1987), Asael Bielski(1908-1945), Zus Bielski(1910-1995)and Aharon Bielski(1927-). These brave men formed and protected a hidden community in the forests of Belarus during WW2 to protect the lives of over 1200 Jews. We must all yearn for the Courage and Fortitude to be self-sacrificing in times of crisis and hardship to keep saving others from evil people. MISSION: To reach a cache in Belarus if possible or on the border of Poland and Belarus. The last Geocacher may collect this Travel Bug with our thanks for helping it finish its course.
