Current Goal

The Great Cow Tag Race

I am in a race to get to the 2012 Sonoma County GeoRally, having started on May 14th 2011 at the
5th Annual Sonoma County GeoRally.

The race is The Great Cow Tag Race. The Race Categories are First Tag checked in at the 2012 event, Longest Journey, and the Most Interesting Journey. In all categories the tag must be checked into the 2012 event please.

Please get photos of me with anything bovine (if possible). I'd love have a (soft) toy cow attached to me at some stage if someone would be so generous as to do so. Or to accumulate cow items, attached to me. Thanks.

So please help me quickly race far and wide. Thanks.

The Great Cow Tag Race

About This Item

This is a The Great Cow Tag Race racer (pictured above) called keewee's Milk Shake Racer. My name is keewee and I am from New Zealand - a country where dairying is huge.

The purpose of the cowtest (race/contests), and the Heifer Tags themselves, is to promote the work of Heifer International, a charity active all over the world.  Heifer International provides agricultural stock and knowledge to program participants, who enter into a covenant when selected to “Pass the Gift”: to pass on the first offspring of whatever stock they’ve received (and the knowledge) to someone else in their community.  So Heifer International is a true self-replicating charity: a single gift of livestock and knowledge that it gives to a needful person is then replicated and amplified as it is passed on to more and more people in the community.  Heifer has literally transformed the landscape of poverty in countries around the world, helping families regain their capacity to live beyond the next meal.

April is “Pass the Gift” month, a month in which Heifer asks its supporters to spread the word of Heifer International’s work.  The Great Cow Tag Race is Jackalgirl’s and Moozer’s geocaching answer to that call.

Don't know what NepeanCacher has, but I had the trackable at the time he found the cache at Sydney Airport. It is now in SoCal, much closer to it's destination. It was the first trackable I had helped along so I may have logged it wrong.

Picked this crazy TB up from Sydney Airport when I arrived from Brisbane. Great to hear about the cow race. I hope this has not already finished as it is still a long way from USA. Regards,

Took Heifer. It will be traveling with me to LAX on 14/2/12. I will leave it in a cache in SoCal or send it to Saorbreatche who will leave it in a cache in NoCal near it's destination.
